THE VENUE
Mount Druid is privately owned and the venue is hired out for exclusive use so you won’t share it with other parties. With a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, that will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, our truly unique venue can be adapted into whatever you want. Situated in the picturesque village of Castletown Geoghegan, County Westmeath, Mount Druid is an exquisite parkland of 100 acres.
Mount Druid’s largest indoor space, the barn is a beautifully restored building with lots of natural light. A front reception area that leads into the main barn and out into a back conservatory. The barn comes fully furnished with an integrated PA system, WiFi, a stage, full bar and kitchen and with seating for up to 220 guests banquet style. The space can of course be tailored to any event.
The Tin Chapel
Mount Druid’s Tin Chapel can be transformed into a meeting or exhibition space. See how Husqvarna utilised the building for their exhibition. The building has an integrated PA system
This beautiful space is located beside lough druid. The room can be anything from a meeting space, exhibition space, pre-dinner reception or post dinner party venue. It comes with an integrated PA system, a full bar and adjoining catering area with a wood fire pizza oven.
